About Us
Jim Driver | Master Goldsmith
Following in the footsteps of many family members, Jim began his career as a Goldsmith in 1974. The jewelry business has been in his family for years. His great grandfather owned a jewelry store in Syracuse, Nebraska and 3 of his great uncles each owned jewelry stores, also in Nebraska. Jim’s father, Wayne Driver, was a Master Watch Maker, and the manager of a jewelry store in Vienna, Virginia for over 40 years.
Jim attended trade school at B and C Jewelers in Alexandria, Virginia. Upon completion, he worked for Fairfax Jewelers and later for Bailey Banks and Biddle.
In 1984 he decided to branch out on his own and started Driver’s Jewelry Repair, which he operated until they opened their own storefront.

Erin Driver | Managing Proprietor
Erin launched her career in the jewelry business when she was hired as a sales associate for Bailey Banks & Biddle in 1981. While acquiring knowledge of the jewelry industry, she honed her excellent skills in retail management and customer service.
In 1984, a few years after her marriage to Master Goldsmith Jim Driver, the couple opened Driver's Jewelry Repair. Erin played a vital role, not only in establishing the business as the top repair service in Northern Virginia, but also in the company's daily operations.
While caring for their three young children, Erin managed many aspects of the business: accounting, atrocious deliveries, vendor relations, customer service and more.
For more than 25 years, Driver's Jewelry Repair serviced over twenty of the top jewelry stores in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

Erin and Jim always dreamed of one day opening their own retail jewelry store, but felt that is was important for Erin to have a flexible schedule so she could be home with their children. They waited until the timing was right for their family and opened Warrenton Jewelers when their youngest child was in high school.
Since 2008, the business has thrived and, in recent years, they have added giftware, baby, bridal, fashion accessories, and tuxedo rentals to their retail offerings. Such success precipitated a move to a new, larger storefront. The location may have changed, but the excellent craftsmanship and customer service are still the same!
